If I had $254 to drop right now, I’d start with the Loose Pleated Dress by Maria Bonita Extra. The dress is perfect for this seasonal limbo because it’s 100% cotton, and yet features a deep, rich red that signals “fall.” It’s named because it has pleating at the neckline. There on-seam pockets at the hip, short puff sleeves, and an accompanying sash. I’d drop the sash, cinch my waist with a black patent leather belt, and pair this dress with some black booties.
