Tyra is really starting to make me mad. I have had a love/hate relationship with her for years. I love her because she has managed to go from a gawky kid to a supermodel to a television producer to a talk show host. The funny thing is that I hate her for all of the same reasons. But the main reason I hate her is though all of this success she still thinks she is a model.
Modeling isn’t like being President. Once you are finished with your modeling career the title is stripped away. Poof, no more. Tyra has not only chosen to keep her title, but to act on it too.
Let’s face it, times are rough. Gone are the days of models with breasts and booty. The Cindy Crawford days are over and now the industry is filled with undeveloped 15 years olds strutting their stuff (and making the world sick). We are trained to see those types of “women” in fashion. So when you plop an over-the-hill Tyra banks sporting a belly baring tube top and street corner worthy skirt, what do you expect me to think?
Tyra is still a gorgeous woman. I have seen her in the flesh just inches away from me, so by all means be in the spot light and be beautiful. But would it kill you to be tastefully beautiful? Women your age have no business wearing outfits like that. Heck, women my age have no business wearing that. Let’s reserve those fashion statements for the trannies on Santa Monica Blvd. Am I right Tyra?
